What is Assisted Living?

The assisted living model provides different levels of care based on the needs of the residents.  Each community has a different approach to providing assistance with daily living activities like laundry, bathing, cooking, and keeping track of medication.  It is a social model of care and companionship that gives seniors an opportunity to maintain a level of independence while receiving the assistance they are lacking on their own.  These communities can range anywhere from small 2-3 bedrooms to larger facilities with 100+ rooms.
